“Experts say the slow digestive system of cows makes them a key producer of methane, a potent greenhouse gas that gets far less public attention than carbon dioxide.
In a bid to understand the impact of the wind produced by cows on global warming, scientists collected gas from their stomachs in plastic tanks attached to their backs.
The Argentine researchers discovered methane from cows accounts for more than 30 per cent of the country’s total greenhouse emissions…
Scientists are now carrying out trials of new diets designed to improve cows’s digestion and hopefully reduce global warming. Silvia Valtorta, of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Investigations, said that by feeding cows clover and alfalfa instead of grain “you can reduce methane emissions by 25 percent”.
Tonight was great! Caught in the rain on a patio! Running into my friend Dave. Wearing a garbage bag as a shirt! And when i get home, I realize my cat loves and leaves her partner (see picture).
Found on Flickr, by a friend on mine.
Apparently, this picture is a new hit on Flickr.com. It’s of Dory, our 2 1/2 year old fat cat (that we watch her weight), and comments are flowing in.
By the way… it is presented “as is”. No editing took place here. I only have a “point and shoot”. I just keep clicking, and clicking, and clicking…..
I can NOT believe I’m posting this. It was the look on the male’s face that made me do it.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
It’s been a while since I have posted, and tomorrow will be the next installment of my blog. As to right now, I will leave you with this thought.
Why did Kamikazes wear helmets?
Sarah, please take care. Patti and I will miss you. Enjoy the Cayman’s, and please say hello to Chris.

I took this in June 2007 at St.Lawrence Market in Toronto. As much I pride myself on my “untouched” pictures, I ran this through some filters and came up with this final result.
I hope you like it.
I absolutely LOVE this guy.
Stay with it until he gets to “piggy piggy snack snack”
Even though I DID take this picture, I deny it’s existence.
This is a picture taken by tech guru Leo Laporte. I had to add it seeing as I think it’s a gorgeous picture. I hope you enjoy.
Man, that’s a lot of snow!
New Kids on the Block to Reunite
Late 1980s boy band New Kids on the Block are preparing to announce that they will be reuniting, 14 years after their breakup in 1994. The pop quintet were very successful back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, selling more than 70 million records during their decade-long career, NME.com reports.Though the members have since gone on to their own individual projects, some continuing with music, others dabbling in acting and still others in fields completely separate from the entertainment world, a reunion of this sort had been anticipated for some time now. Though no official statement has been made, People Magazine reports that the announcement is imminent and even the group’s once-dormant website, http://www.nkotb.com, is showing signs of life.

These are the same teams that I recorded on my digital cam and put on YouTube a couple of months ago. This time I brought my video camera in anticipation.
Good thing I did.
Ok…. I’m playing in a band tomorrow. I’m on a fist date.
So what am doing right now? I’m watching James Taylor and the Dixie Chicks… together.
Hey Dumbfoundedites! I’ve updated my Flickr page upon request.
Please find it here.
Dumbfoundedone will be off for a few days so that he and his wife can move to a BIGGER place. Wish him luck as he attempts to reconnect all those wires again.
